This wireperson position focuses on accurate assembly and wiring of control panels, motor control centres, and automation systems in accordance with electrical drawings, specifications, and relevant standards. You will wire to approved schematics and wiring diagrams, install and terminate power, control, and instrumentation cabling, and ensure correct segregation, routing, and termination. The role also includes interpreting schematics and general arrangement drawings, marking up as-built changes, and collaborating with testers and supervisors to meet production targets. You will carry out self-checks and peer checks, report defects or non-conformances, and support improvements to wiring practices and efficiency.
